Pakistan Air Force Shoots Down Suspected Drone Over Quetta Airspace

QUETTA: A suspected drone that entered the airspace over Quetta was shot down by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) late last night, according to reports.
The drone was intercepted and destroyed after it allegedly violated the city’s airspace. Officials said the aircraft was brought down while still airborne.
The wreckage of the drone reportedly fell near the Railway Hospital in the Sariab area of Quetta.
Authorities said there were no reports of casualties or damage to property as a result of the incident, and the surrounding area remains secure.
Further details regarding the origin of the drone or the circumstances surrounding the airspace violation have not yet been officially disclosed. An investigation is expected to determine the nature and purpose of the drone.
