Four Newly Elected Independent GB Assembly Members Join Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party

Islamabad – Four newly elected independent members of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly have announced their decision to join the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), according to political sources.

As per details reported by SAMAA News, the newly elected representatives met IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan and formally expressed their full confidence in his leadership. During the meeting, all four members announced their decision to join the party.

The lawmakers include Anwar Ali from GB-23 Ghanche, Asad Shafiq from GB-24 Ghanche, Muhammad Dilpazir from GB-15 Diamer, and Amaan Ali from GB-21 Ghizer.

Welcoming their inclusion, IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan said the party fully welcomes the new members and is committed to working for the development and prosperity of Gilgit-Baltistan.

He emphasized that there is significant potential for improvement in infrastructure and tourism in the region, adding that key focus areas will include health, education, information technology, and employment generation.

Aleem Khan further stated that the party aims to play an active role in addressing public issues and promoting sustainable development across Gilgit-Baltistan.
