Immediate Action Taken in Barkhan Over Rainwater Drainage Issues, Blocked Drains Cleared

Barkhan (News Desk) — Deputy Commissioner Barkhan, Saeed-ur-Rehman Kakar, took immediate notice of complaints circulating on social media regarding rainwater drainage problems and blocked drains in the city, and issued directives to the Municipal Committee to improve sanitation and drainage arrangements.

Following the instructions, the Municipal Committee staff quickly became active and initiated a cleaning operation in various areas, streets, and roads of the city. The staff removed garbage and obstructions from blocked drains, restoring the flow of rainwater to prevent inconvenience to the public.

On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Saeed-ur-Rehman Kakar stated that the timely resolution of public issues remains the top priority of the district administration. He further directed the concerned authorities to ensure regular monitoring of the sanitation and drainage systems so that citizens do not face any problems during the rainy season.
