Four Killed in Firing at Hotel in Mezi Adda; Tensions Rise in the Area

QILLA ABDULLAH: At least four people, including a well-known personality Dad Muhammad Kakar, were killed and two others injured in a firing incident at a hotel in Mezi Adda, officials and local sources said.
According to details, the incident occurred at a hotel in the NADRA Market area of Mezi Adda, where Dad Muhammad Kakar was reportedly holding a meeting with his companions when unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire.
As a result of the attack, Dad Muhammad Kakar, Syed Jafar Agha, and Matiullah were killed on the spot, while two others sustained serious injuries.
Local tribesmen rushed to the scene following the incident and shifted the bodies and injured to the Trauma Center in Mezi Adda. The attackers managed to escape after the firing.
Meanwhile, separate reports indicated escalating tensions between two local tribes near Dolangi area of Gulistan, where clashes and firing incidents continued. Sources said that one group allegedly took control of a house belonging to the rival group and set it on fire, further intensifying the situation in the region.
Authorities have begun collecting information regarding both incidents, while further details are awaited. Security in the area remains on high alert amid rising tensions.
