Family of Alleged Militant Commander Shehnaz Baloch Publicly Disowns Her

TURBAT: Family members of alleged militant commander Shehnaz Baloch have publicly distanced themselves from her, declaring that they have no connection with her actions or activities.

Speaking at a press conference at the Turbat Press Club, Shehnaz Baloch’s mother, grandfather, uncle, and other relatives stated that the family had been unaware of any alleged links between her and extremist or banned organizations.

Her mother, Rukhsana, said that Shehnaz’s father passed away when she was only nine months old. She added that Shehnaz moved to Oman at a young age and had been living there for many years.

According to the family, Shehnaz has had no contact with her relatives for nearly 12 years. Her mother said that even after marriage, she continued to reside in Oman, where she had two children.

Relatives attending the press conference emphasized that the family had no association with any statements, actions, or activities attributed to Shehnaz Baloch. They described themselves as peaceful Pakistani citizens who respect the law and state institutions.

Other family members, including her uncle and close relatives, were also present at the briefing and reiterated their disassociation from her alleged activities. Authorities have not independently verified the family’s statements.
