Woman Offloaded at Airport Over Fake Marriage Documents, FIA Foils Attempt to Travel Abroad

Islamabad (Special Correspondent) – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has foiled an attempt to travel abroad using allegedly fake marriage documents and offloaded a female passenger at Karachi airport.

According to an FIA spokesperson, immigration staff at Karachi International Airport stopped a woman named Kiran, who was travelling to Oman, after she presented suspicious and allegedly forged relationship documents.

The woman claimed that she was married to a Pakistani citizen named Sajawal, who is reportedly residing in Oman. She further stated that the marriage took place a year ago.

However, during verification of the QR code on the marriage certificate, the document was found to be suspicious and could not be authenticated.

The FIA spokesperson said that the passenger was unable to provide basic information regarding her alleged husband and in-laws, and inconsistencies were found in her statements during questioning.

Due to unsatisfactory verification results, the passenger was offloaded and transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi for further legal proceedings.
