“Momina Iqbal Is My Red Line,” Says Hamza Habib Amid Character Assassination Allegations

Lahore: Hamza Habib, the fiancé of Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal, has publicly broken his silence over alleged character assassination campaigns against the actress and an FIR registered against him, while also claiming that he was offered large sums of money to back down.
Speaking to the media, Hamza Habib accused Pakistan Muslim League-N lawmaker Saqib Chadhar and his group of orchestrating a campaign aimed at damaging Momina Iqbal’s reputation and sabotaging their marriage.
According to Hamza, the main objective of the alleged campaign was to spread “baseless and offensive allegations” about the actress in an attempt to create misunderstandings between the couple. He claimed that Saqib Chadhar initially tried to contact him directly to speak negatively about Momina Iqbal and influence him against her.
Hamza Habib further alleged that when it became clear he would not be manipulated or engage with them, a “false FIR” was filed against him as an act of revenge and an attempt to stop the marriage.
He stated that when he approached the relevant DSP and asked for evidence regarding the FIR, authorities failed to provide any proof to justify the case. According to him, this demonstrated that the action was solely intended to sabotage their relationship.
Defending the actress strongly, Hamza Habib said that Momina Iqbal is now his wife and “his red line and honor,” adding that no one has the right to question her character. He warned that if attempts to target them continued, they would publicly present evidence allegedly in their possession against the opposing group.
Hamza also claimed that individuals linked to the rival group had recently approached him with offers of significant financial benefits in exchange for withdrawing legal complaints filed with cybercrime and relevant authorities.
He rejected the alleged offers, saying that while money might influence some people, “the honor of a self-respecting man cannot be bought.”
