Karachi Morning Begins with Clouds and Drizzle; Hot and Humid Day Expected

Karachi: The city experienced a cloudy and pleasant morning with light drizzle in several areas as sea breezes and overcast conditions prevailed.

According to the Meteorological Department, the clouds are expected to clear after a few hours; however, the weather will remain hot and humid throughout the day with mostly clear skies and occasional strong winds.

The maximum temperature in Karachi is expected to remain between 34°C and 36°C today. The minimum temperature was recorded at 29°C, while the humidity level stood at 78 percent in the morning.

Officials said sea breezes are likely to continue blowing at speeds of 20 to 50 kilometers per hour over the next 24 hours. Humidity levels are expected to remain between 50 and 85 percent, making the weather feel 5 to 8 degrees hotter than the actual temperature.

Meteorologists also noted that the maximum temperature recorded yesterday was 35°C, indicating persistent warm conditions in the coastal city.
