Heatwave Grips Punjab as Temperatures Soar in Lahore

Lahore: Intense heat continues to affect Lahore and other cities across Punjab, with the weather department warning of dusty winds later this evening.

The provincial capital experienced strong sunshine from early morning, pushing the temperature to 36 degrees Celsius. According to the meteorological department, Lahore’s minimum temperature was recorded at 28°C, while the maximum is expected to reach 40°C today.

Weather experts have also predicted hot and dry conditions during the days of Eid-ul-Adha. Citizens have been advised to take precautionary measures and avoid unnecessary outdoor activities during peak heat hours.

The Meteorological Department further stated that temperatures are likely to rise significantly in other cities of Punjab as well, increasing humidity and creating uncomfortable weather conditions across the province.
