Allegations Surface Over Cocaine Case in Lahore: Claims of Evidence Tampering and Case Withdrawal

Lahore: Serious allegations have emerged regarding a high-profile narcotics case in which cocaine allegedly recovered in Lahore was reportedly replaced with talcum powder in an effort to shield accused individuals, including Anmol alias Pinki.
According to a special investigative report by local media, the case involves claims that cocaine seized during a police operation in the Kot Lakhpat area was later altered in official records and evidence handling procedures. The report further alleges that this manipulation contributed to weakening the prosecution’s case.
Sources claim that during a previous operation in the Kot Lakhpat locality, a suspect identified as the brother of Anmol alias Pinki was arrested while allegedly involved in drug distribution. The female suspect reportedly managed to flee the scene. An FIR was initially registered under narcotics charges, including the recovery of controlled substances.
However, according to the report, the case was unexpectedly closed within three months under circumstances now being questioned. It is further alleged that the narcotics evidence was either mishandled or replaced during investigation procedures.
The report also revisits earlier claims that Anmol alias Pinki had been operating a drug network from Lahore for over a decade, allegedly managing distribution networks across major cities. It further states that she was previously arrested and later released under controversial circumstances.
Additionally, the report mentions allegations involving a retired police officer, who is said to have been previously connected to the case and is now reportedly under investigation by sensitive agencies for suspected facilitation and misuse of authority.
Authorities have not independently verified these claims, and investigations into the matter are reportedly ongoing.
