Gold Prices Drop Sharply for Third Consecutive Day in Pakistan

Karachi: Gold prices continued to decline in both local and international markets, bringing relief to buyers as the precious metal became cheaper for the third consecutive day.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs5,300, bringing the new rate down to Rs488,362 per tola in Pakistan.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs4,544, reaching Rs418,691.
In the international market, gold prices also witnessed a decline, with the price per ounce dropping by $53 to settle at $4,660.
Meanwhile, the association stated that silver prices in the local market remained unchanged, with per tola silver holding steady at Rs8,513.
