Quetta Police Firing Incident: Three Officers Arrested After Youth Killed

QUETTA: Authorities have taken strict action following a police firing incident in Quetta that resulted in the death of a young man during the pursuit of a black Toyota Mark X.
According to officials, the incident occurred when police chased the vehicle and opened fire, leading to the fatality. Taking immediate notice, senior officials of Quetta Police ordered a thorough investigation.
An inquiry committee, headed by the SSP Serious Crime Investigation Wing (SCIW), was formed to examine the circumstances of the incident. The committee has submitted its report, based on which a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against the officers involved.

Three police personnel have been arrested in connection with the case.
The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Quetta emphasized that any misuse of authority or excessive use of force by police will not be tolerated. He stated that law enforcement officials are bound to protect citizens and will be held accountable if found violating the law.
Officials further assured that justice will be ensured and no individual will be considered above the law.
