Gold and Silver Prices Surge Sharply in Local and International Markets

Islamabad (Khabar Daily) — Gold and silver prices have recorded a significant increase in both global and local markets amid continued fluctuations, creating uncertainty for investors and buyers.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs 4,400, reaching Rs 483,962. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs 3,772 to Rs 414,919.
The price of 22-karat gold also increased by Rs 3,458 per 10 grams, bringing it to Rs 380,356.
In the international market, gold prices rose by $44 per ounce, reaching $4,616, reflecting rising demand and ongoing global economic uncertainty.
Silver also saw an upward trend, with the price per tola increasing by Rs 55 to reach Rs 7,821, which may impact both jewelry buyers and industrial users.
Experts note that prices of 22, 21, and 18-karat gold also move in proportion to the 24-karat benchmark, with variations depending on purity levels.
