Over 8,300 Students Complete Quran Memorization at Prophet’s Mosque in 2025

Madinah: A total of 8,335 students successfully completed memorization of the Holy Quran at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi during 2025, according to the Department of Quran and Sunnah Education.
The achievement is being recognized as part of a major global educational initiative, reflecting the growing reach of Quranic learning programs associated with the Prophet’s Mosque.
Officials reported that, on average, 33 students completed their Hifz each day. The program attracted more than 71,000 participants from over 170 countries, highlighting its international scope.
Out of these, around 40,000 students pursued their studies through online or remote learning platforms, demonstrating the increasing role of digital education in religious studies.
The department further revealed that more than 3,000 study circles were held daily under the supervision of over 1,500 qualified teachers, ensuring structured learning and effective guidance for students.
The initiative underscores the continued global commitment to Quranic education and the role of Madinah as a central hub for Islamic learning.
