New Zealand Women’s Squad Announced for ICC T20 World Cup; Amelia Kerr to Lead

The New Zealand Cricket Board has announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, with all-rounder Amelia Kerr appointed as captain of the side.
Veteran players Sophie Devine and Suzie Bates have also been included in the squad. Both experienced cricketers are expected to feature in their final World Cup appearance, with retirement planned after the tournament.
The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to begin on June 12 in England, bringing together top international teams for the prestigious competition.
Ahead of the tournament, New Zealand will play a three-match T20 series against England as part of their preparation phase, aiming to fine-tune their squad combinations and form.
