Mustafa Amir, DSP Murder Case: Court Presented with Details of Facilities Provided to Accused Armaghan in Jail

KARACHI: Details regarding the facilities provided to accused Armaghan in jail were presented before an anti-terrorism court during the hearing of multiple cases, including the murder of Mustafa Amir and a DSP.
The special anti-terrorism court heard four cases against the accused, during which jail authorities submitted a report outlining the amenities being provided to Armaghan while in custody.
It is pertinent to note that the accused has already filed a petition seeking the transfer of the case to another court.
During the hearing, Armaghan’s mother appeared before the court and requested an adjournment, stating that the defense counsel was out of the city due to the death of a close relative and could not attend the proceedings.
Accepting the request, the court adjourned the hearing until May 5.
According to police, Armaghan and his co-accused Shiraz have been arrested in connection with the case. Police had conducted a raid at Armaghan’s residence on February 8, 2025, to apprehend him.
The accused faces multiple charges, including the murder of Mustafa Amir and involvement in a police encounter, along with other related cases.
