Pakistan Signals Progress as Iran Shows Willingness for Islamabad Talks

A senior Pakistani official has indicated positive developments regarding potential talks between Iran and the United States, according to a report by Reuters.

The official stated that encouraging signals have been received from Tehran regarding participation in negotiations expected to take place in Islamabad. There is growing optimism that Iran may join the dialogue process, possibly within the next one or two days.

Sources cited by Reuters revealed that Pakistan is actively engaged in diplomatic contacts with both Tehran and Washington in an effort to facilitate and advance the talks.

Meanwhile, a report by a U.S. newspaper claimed that an Iranian delegation is planning to travel to Islamabad. The report further suggested that if U.S. Vice President JD Vance visits the Pakistani capital, Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf could also be part of the visiting delegation.

The developments point to a possible breakthrough in diplomatic engagement, as regional and global stakeholders closely monitor the situation.
