Mufti Taqi Usmani Praises Pakistan’s Role in De-escalating Iran–US Tensions

Renowned religious scholar Taqi Usmani has praised Pakistan’s leadership for what he described as a “delicate and balanced role” in efforts to prevent conflict between Iran and the United States.

In a statement shared on the social media platform X, Mufti Usmani said that Pakistan’s leadership had been divinely guided to play a crucial role in de-escalating tensions. He added that these efforts have significantly elevated Pakistan’s global standing.

He further noted that the success of the anticipated negotiations is not only vital for the Muslim world but for the entire international community. Emphasizing the importance of the moment, he echoed the call of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, urging citizens to pray for the success of the talks.

Mufti Usmani stressed that collective prayers and unity at this critical juncture could contribute to positive outcomes, highlighting the broader global interest in peaceful resolution.
