Actress Deedar Refuses to Apologize Amid Ongoing Feud with Resham
Lahore: A public feud between Pakistani actresses Deedar and Resham has intensified, drawing widespread attention on social media and within the entertainment industry.
The controversy escalated after Deedar, during a recent TV show appearance, strongly criticized Resham, alleging that she exhibits negative behavior in real life and has adversely affected the lives of several people.
In response, Resham broke her silence without directly naming Deedar, suggesting that some individuals are jealous of her charitable work, particularly her community food distribution efforts. She remarked that certain people fail to establish their own identity and instead rely on others for recognition.
Amid the growing dispute, Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari intervened, urging both actresses to show restraint. In a social media statement, she advised artists to avoid using inappropriate language against one another and suggested that Deedar should apologize.
Resham welcomed Bukhari’s remarks, sharing the statement and calling her a good friend. However, Deedar firmly rejected the suggestion, stating that she would not apologize under pressure and that no one could force her to do so.
