PTI Welcomes Two-Week Ceasefire Between Iran and US

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has welcomed the announcement of a two-week ceasefire between Iran and United States, expressing hope that both sides will fully adhere to its terms.

According to the party’s central media department, PTI emphasized that the temporary truce should serve as a foundation for establishing lasting peace and stability in the region.

The party described its stance as clear, consistent, and principled, reiterating that it supports dialogue and peace over war and destruction. It added that history has repeatedly shown that wars lead to widespread devastation, long-term uncertainty, and the loss of innocent lives.

PTI also appreciated the efforts of all relevant parties and mediators involved in achieving the ceasefire, urging them to continue working toward a comprehensive and sustainable resolution to ensure peace and security in the region.
