Balochistan Anti-Corruption Arrests Fugitive Former XEN in Multi-Crore Irrigation Fund Embezzlement Case

Loralai: The Directorate of Inquiries and Anti-Corruption Establishment, Balochistan, has achieved a major breakthrough in a multi-crore embezzlement case involving the Irrigation Department’s funds in Loralai by arresting the fugitive former XEN, Fazal Rahman.
Fazal Rahman, named as the main accused in FIR No. 2026/L/2, had been absconding to avoid arrest. He was taken into custody during a successful operation, and further investigations have commenced to uncover all details of the alleged corruption.
Deputy Director of Anti-Corruption Loralai confirmed that concrete evidence of misappropriation and irregularities in government funds allocated for dam construction exists. Earlier, five other suspects, including former XEN Jehanzeb Khan Kakar, Ghulam Mustafa, and associated contractors, had already been arrested in the same case.
The deputy director emphasized that, under the vision of Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, impartial actions against corruption will continue across the province, and those misusing public resources will be held accountable under the law.
