Rain Eases in Karachi, More Showers Expected After Noon Tomorrow: Met Office

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has said that rainfall has subsided in Karachi, with no further rain expected during the night. However, fresh showers are likely to return after noon tomorrow.
According to the Met Office, while rain has stopped, thunder and lightning activity continues in various parts of the city. Officials warned that strong winds accompanied by thunderstorms could still bring isolated heavy downpours in some areas, with a possibility of hailstorms at a few locations.
The department also forecast light rain on the first day of Eid ul-Fitr, adding that a westerly weather system between March 24 and 27 may bring additional बारिश to Karachi and other parts of Sindh.
Authorities have advised residents to remain cautious due to changing weather conditions and potential strong winds.
