Pakistan Announces Public Holidays for Eid al-Fitr

Islamabad: The Cabinet Division Pakistan has announced public holidays across the country on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

According to an official notification issued by the Government of Pakistan, government offices will remain closed on March 20 and March 21, 2026 (Friday and Saturday).

The statement said the holidays will apply to all government institutions operating under both five-day and six-day working week schedules.

Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan and is celebrated by Muslims with prayers, gatherings, and festivities across Pakistan.
