Federal Minister Jam Kamal Khan Calls for Collaborative Effort in Politics and Discusses NPP and PPP Alliance
Hub:Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan emphasized that political decisions are not imposed but require collective effort to progress. Speaking at a joint press conference with Provincial Advisor Mir Ali Hasan Zehri at the Comal City PPP Public Secretariat, Khan noted that the National Party has received support from the PPP and PML-N in recent setups, and the National Party has reciprocated with votes.
Khan highlighted that the alliance between the Jam Group and PPP is not new and expressed that their position on local governance and upcoming elections will be unified. He mentioned that discussions are ongoing regarding a no-confidence motion against the Chairman and Vice Chairman, and that all parties involved should reach a consensus on any decisions.
He also noted that the PPP and PML-N are part of the same government at both the federal and provincial levels and acknowledged the support extended by Asif Ali Zardari to the National Party. Khan emphasized that all parties should approach decisions with an open mind and work together to find solutions.
Regarding past election decisions, Khan recalled the agreement to field a strong candidate against Bhutani Sahib and the collaboration with NPP and PPP to support this candidate. He assured that past promises, including the allocation of chairmanship positions, were honored and that similar cooperation should continue.
Khan criticized any attempts to make personal or party issues a matter of ego, stressing the importance of collective efforts for effective governance. He also called for clarity and support from the government and emphasized that the revenue generation for Hub should be managed locally with proper ownership from both the provincial and federal governments.
