Balochistan CM Announces Comprehensive Strategy Amid Regional Tensions, Launches Peoples Green Bus Service
Turbat (Daily Qudrat) – Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, said that the ongoing tense situation in a neighboring country is affecting the entire region, and the Balochistan government, in coordination with the federal government, is developing a comprehensive strategy to address emerging challenges.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Peoples Green Bus Service in Kech, CM Bugti described the project as an important initiative to provide the public with modern, safe, and high-quality transport facilities. The event was attended by provincial ministers Mir Zahoor Belidi, Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, Mir Asim Kurd Gello, and Parliamentary Secretary Haji Barkat Rand.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the provincial government is prioritizing public welfare and basic service delivery, introducing citizen-friendly projects across Balochistan. He emphasized that the government’s reform agenda is designed for long-term impact, with positive results gradually becoming visible.
On education, CM Bugti stated that 3,200 previously closed schools have been reopened, and teacher recruitment is being conducted strictly on merit to strengthen the educational system. He noted significant progress in the Makran division, where no school remains closed, highlighting the government’s commitment to educational reform.
Addressing the youth, intellectuals, and aware citizens, he urged that endless conflicts and wars benefit no one, stressing that development, education, and peace are the paths toward a bright future for Balochistan.
Regarding regional security, CM Bugti said that Balochistan, in collaboration with the federal government, is formulating a national policy through consultations with federal ministries, including Finance and Petroleum, to effectively tackle economic, social, and regional challenges.
He reaffirmed that the Balochistan government will continue efforts to promote peace, development, education, and public services, aiming to steer the province toward sustainable growth and prosperity.
