Balochistan CM Mir Sarfraz Bugti Visits Kohlu, Announces Rs 500 Million Grant and Upgrades Three Sub-Tehsils

**Kohlu:** Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti visited Kohlu on a one-day trip, where he was warmly welcomed by former provincial minister Mir Naseebullah Marri, tribal elders, and local Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders, including MPA Ali Madad Juttak.

During his visit, the Chief Minister paid tribute to Shaheed Mir Gul Khan Marri and Justice Muhammad Nawaz Marri and acknowledged the sacrifices of the people and security forces that have improved law and order in Kohlu. He announced an additional grant of Rs 500 million in this year’s district council budget for public welfare projects, including the improvement of tuff tiles and the city’s sewerage system.

Moreover, CM Bugti elevated Rahmanabad, Garsani, and Tamboo sub-tehsils, along with Union Council Karam Khan City, to full tehsil status. He emphasized that tribal disputes are best resolved through dialogue and mutual understanding rather than social media.

Addressing the public, he said, “Alongside my official responsibilities, I have a tribal duty to foster peace and promote overall development and prosperity in the region. The Marri tribes here are aware and conscious, and we must resolve conflicts through mutual understanding with the brotherly Baloch communities.”

Former provincial minister Mir Naseebullah Marri and Haji Ali Madad Juttak also spoke at the event, underscoring the importance of reconciliation and development in Kohlu.
