Pakistan’s Security and Sovereignty Are Non-Negotiable, Says Babar Yousafzai

Quetta: Former spokesperson for the Balochistan government and political and social figure Babar Yousafzai has stated that Pakistan remains the foremost priority for its citizens and that the country is in safe hands. He emphasized that there can be no compromise on Pakistan’s security, sovereignty, and stability.
He expressed these views while speaking to a delegation of students at his residence. Yousafzai said that although Pakistan faces internal and external challenges, national institutions, security forces, and the public are united and capable of thwarting every conspiracy against the country.
He noted that anti-state elements have long engaged in negative propaganda against Pakistan, but the nation has consistently demonstrated unity and resilience during difficult times, proving that the country is a strong and responsible state.
Yousafzai urged students to focus on their education and contribute positively to the country’s development. He highlighted that the youth are a valuable asset to any nation, and since a large portion of Pakistan’s population consists of young people, it is essential to provide them with proper direction, quality education, and national awareness.
He further stressed that national unity is crucial under the current circumstances. While political differences may exist, he said, all stakeholders must stand together when it comes to national security and state interests.
Yousafzai also paid tribute to the sacrifices of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism, saying their contributions can never be forgotten. He added that maintaining peace and order across the country, including Balochistan, remains a top priority and that state institutions are taking strong measures to ensure stability and development.
He concluded by thanking the student delegation and expressing hope that the awareness and patriotism of the younger generation would guarantee a bright future for Pakistan.
