Millions Lost to National Exchequer, Probe Underway into Fake Documents Scam

**Lahore (Qudrat Daily):** Anti-corruption authorities have registered a case against Zeeshan Zia, owner of American Lyceum, and his husband Tanveer Rajput for allegedly preparing forged documents, causing significant financial losses to the national exchequer.
During further investigations, it emerged that an employee of the Education Authority, identified as Shabbir, was also involved in the scandal. According to officials, the accused allegedly prepared fake certificates and official government stamps, which were used to establish school branches through fraudulent means.
The FIR states that the actions of the suspects resulted in losses worth millions of rupees to the public treasury. Lahore anti-corruption authorities confirmed that investigations are ongoing and that additional individuals involved in the case are being identified.
Authorities further revealed that forged Education Authority stamps and official letters were created and used alongside fabricated documents. Following the exposure of the scam, anti-corruption officials have intensified their actions, with further developments expected in the coming days.
