Pakistan Launches Operation Ghazb Lil Haq Against Afghan Taliban, 30 Militants Killed, Multiple Posts Destroyed

**Islamabad:** Pakistan has launched Operation Ghazb Lil Haq in response to unprovoked attacks by the Afghan Taliban along the Pak-Afghan border. Security sources report that Pakistani forces targeted several Taliban hideouts, destroying multiple posts and killing at least 30 militants.
The counterattacks were carried out in sectors including Nawagai (Bajaur), Tirah (Khyber), Chitral, and Garsal (Mohmand), with Afghan Taliban firing across the border. Pakistani forces effectively neutralized Taliban check posts and repelled attempted drone and quadcopter attacks. During the operations, a mosque in Bajaur was also damaged due to Taliban shelling.
The Ministry of Information stated that the Taliban miscalculated the situation, and Pakistan’s security forces are fully prepared to respond to any aggression.
Federal Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhry emphasized that Pakistan will not allow its peace to be disrupted and insists on a peaceful Afghanistan as a neighbor.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz praised the armed forces for their swift and decisive response, declaring that every inch of Pakistan’s territory will be defended. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also condemned the attacks, highlighting national unity and support for the military in safeguarding the country.
Security sources confirmed that drone strikes and artillery were used to target Taliban positions, and counteroperations continue to ensure border stability and prevent further incursions.
