Historic Mistake to Separate Mastung from Kalat, Quetta Should Be Divided into Three Districts: Nawabzada Jamal Raisani Urges CM for Review

**Quetta:** Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNA Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani has criticized the recent administrative decision to remove Mastung from the Kalat Division and include it in Quetta Division, calling it a historic mistake.
In a statement posted on social media, Raisani said that Mastung is an important and historic part of the Kalat and Sarawan region, and its reassignment to Quetta Division cannot be accepted. He urged the Chief Minister of Balochistan and all cabinet members to reconsider the decision.
Raisani further suggested that Quetta city should be divided into three districts instead of two, with each National Assembly constituency becoming a separate district. He emphasized that this would improve governance and make public service delivery more efficient.
He stressed that if the goal of the reorganization is to improve governance by dividing larger divisions into smaller units, Mastung should remain part of the Kalat Division to preserve historical and administrative continuity.
