Pakistan Ready to Send Skilled and Unskilled Workforce to Europe, Says Mohsin Naqvi

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that Pakistan is ready to send both skilled and unskilled workers to European countries to meet labor market demands.
Leading a Pakistani delegation, Mohsin Naqvi attended a Migration Dialogue held in Rome, where his Italian, Spanish and Greek counterparts were also present.
The minister thanked Italy for allocating 10,500 job opportunities for Pakistani workers and emphasized that European countries should promote regular migration channels for individuals seeking employment abroad. He noted that encouraging legal pathways would help discourage illegal arrivals.
Ministers from Greece and Spain assured the Pakistani delegation that they would provide employment opportunities for Pakistani nationals.
Officials at the dialogue also appreciated the recent decline in the number of Pakistanis attempting to reach Europe illegally by sea, terming it a positive development in migration management efforts.
