KP CM’s Aide Accuses Sindh Government of Crackdown on PTI Rally, PPP Rejects Claims

Special Assistant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister **Suhail Afridi**, **Shafee Jan**, has accused the Sindh government of being “panicked” by PTI and using **tear gas shelling and baton charge** at **Jinnah Garden**.
In a statement, Shafee Jan claimed that PTI had the public mandate in Karachi but its seats were “snatched away.” He questioned how the government could hold negotiations with PTI after what he described as unfair treatment. He further said that PTI had already decided that **the path to reconciliation would come through resistance**.
Meanwhile, **Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNA Shazia Marri** rejected Shafee Jan’s allegations. She said that **PTI’s route was not blocked** and the party was given permission to hold its rally. However, she alleged that PTI wanted to stage protests on the roads.
Shazia Marri remarked that everyone knows that **even 50 people look like 500 when they protest on roads**, adding that **Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf should focus on governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa instead of creating unrest elsewhere**.
