Six Killed in Karachi Traffic Accidents, Two Youth Run Over by Dumpers

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily): Fatal accidents involving heavy vehicles continue to claim lives in Karachi. In just a few hours, two separate incidents involving dumpers left two young men dead and another severely injured.
According to Express News, near the Super Highway Punjab Bus Stop, a dumper ran over two motorcyclists, killing them instantly. In another incident near Gulshan-e-Hadeed, a speeding dumper collided with a motorcyclist, who later succumbed to his injuries.
In both accidents, the dumper drivers fled the scene, but police seized the vehicles and took them to the local station.
Rescue officials identified the victims in Sohrab Goth as 30-year-old Kamran and 20-year-old Amanullah. SHO Sachal Tufail Bhutto confirmed that the dumper driver responsible had escaped, but police are actively searching for him. The deceased were employed at a local hotel on the Super Highway and were traveling on motorcycles at the time of the accident. Initial reports suggest both were residents of Liaquatabad, though investigations are ongoing.
Near Zaitoon Restaurant in Gulshan-e-Hadeed, a high-speed dumper hit another motorcyclist, who was rushed to Jinnah Hospital by Chhipa volunteers in critical condition and later died. The identity of this 32-year-old male victim is yet to be confirmed.
Eyewitnesses reported that the driver abandoned the dumper and fled the scene, but police have recovered the vehicle and continue their investigation.
