Gold Prices Surge Again After One-Day Pause; Silver Also Rises

Karachi — After a one-day pause, gold prices surged once again today in both international and local markets.
On the international bullion market, gold rose by $117 per ounce on Saturday, bringing the new global price to $4,967 per ounce.
In local markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs11,700, reaching Rs519,462, while the price per 10 grams rose by Rs10,030 to Rs445,354.
Silver prices also saw a rise, with the price per tola increasing by Rs444 to Rs8,269, and the price per 10 grams climbing by Rs381 to Rs7,089.
Market analysts attribute the surge to fluctuations in global bullion demand and currency movements, impacting both gold and silver prices in Pakistan.
