Yasir Hussain Challenges Sunny Deol to Follow in Father Dharmendra’s Footsteps

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – Pakistani actor, writer, and director Yasir Hussain has taken aim at Bollywood’s *Border 2* and challenged its lead actor Sunny Deol to follow in the footsteps of his father, Dharmendra.
The controversy began after Sunny Deol shared a video message on Instagram, thanking fans for the film’s box office success, which reportedly exceeded $22 million. In the video, he asked, “Where did the voice reach?” and answered himself, “To your hearts.”
Responding in the comments, Yasir Hussain addressed Sunny Deol, saying, “Hello Sunny Bhai, I have enjoyed your films since childhood, but the voice of love reaches hearts, hatred does not. The voice of *Border 2* only reached the hearts of those spreading hatred.”

Yasir Hussain further urged Sunny Deol to make at least one film like his father Dharmendra’s *Ankhon Dekhi*, an anti-war film highlighting the value of human life rather than aggressive nationalism.
*Border 2*, directed by Anurag Singh, features Sunny Deol alongside Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. Hussain’s remarks have sparked discussions among fans about the film’s messaging and cinematic impact.
