Quetta Police Issue Ultimatum: Return Stolen Government Property Within 48 Hours or Face Terrorism Charges

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta):** Quetta Police have issued a stern ultimatum, urging the public to return **stolen government property within 48 hours**, warning that failure to comply will result in **strict legal action**, including being treated as **accomplices of terrorists**.

In an official statement, a police spokesperson said that citizens are directed to return **motorcycles, vehicles, rickshaws, and other government property** stolen from official custody to their respective police stations. After the 48-hour deadline, anyone found in possession of such property will face action under the law.

The spokesperson noted that while the people of Quetta are generally peaceful, hospitable, and law-abiding, the conduct of some individuals during recent terrorist incidents has raised serious concerns. He said that while police were engaged in confronting terrorists, certain miscreants took advantage of the situation and looted government assets, including vehicles and motorcycles held in official custody.

The police described this act as falling **within the scope of terrorism**, stressing that Quetta Police are preparing to launch an operation to recover all stolen items. Individuals found in possession of stolen government property after the deadline will be **prosecuted under anti-terrorism laws**.

The spokesperson added that Quetta Police remain committed to serving the public and clarified that those who return the stolen items **within 48 hours** will **not be questioned**. However, once the grace period expires, offenders will be considered collaborators of terrorists and dealt with accordingly.
