Golmaal” Actress Rimi Sen Retires From Bollywood, Ventures Into Dubai Real Estate

**Islamabad:** Popular Bollywood actress of the 2000s, Rimi Sen, known for hit films like *Hungama*, *Dhoom*, *Golmaal*, *Phir Hera Pheri*, and *Johnny Gaddar*, has officially retired from the film industry and embarked on a new career in real estate.

In a recent interview, Rimi revealed that she is now working as a real estate agent in Dubai, describing it as a “new chapter” in her life. She praised Dubai for its diverse population, well-organized civic systems, and inclusive environment, noting that the city caters to people of all religions and backgrounds.

Comparing India and Dubai, Rimi said that frequent policy changes and complex tax structures in India often create challenges for business and residents, whereas Dubai’s real estate sector operates with clear rules, where agents, agencies, and developers work within defined boundaries. She highlighted that real estate agents in Dubai are respected and trusted, similar to financial advisors—a recognition rarely seen in India.

Reflecting on her film career, Rimi admitted that repeatedly playing comedic roles had become exhausting. She said that in many films her characters were limited to being “decorative,” while she desired more serious and strong roles. Only in a few films like *Hungama* and *Johnny Gaddar* did she get roles that matched her ambitions.

Rimi made her Bollywood debut in 2003 with *Hungama* and quickly rose to prominence. Today, she is fully focused on her career in Dubai’s real estate sector, where she appears satisfied and confident with her decision to leave the film industry behind.
