My Fee for a Single Drama Is More Than the Price of an Alto: Mehak Malik
Lahore: Transgender dancer Mehak Malik has revealed that the fee she charges for a single drama is higher than the price of a Suzuki Alto.
Speaking in a recent interview, Mehak Malik responded to a question about her earnings by drawing a comparison often made by popular YouTubers. She said that just as some YouTubers claim they earn enough from their monthly content to easily buy one, two, or even three Altos, she similarly charges an amount for a single drama that is equivalent to the price of one to one-and-a-half Altos.
During the interview, the host also asked Mehak Malik to compare her remuneration with that of renowned actress Nargis. In response, Mehak Malik said she has never met Nargis and therefore could not comment on her earnings. However, she disclosed that her own fee exceeds Rs 2 million.
Her statement has sparked discussion on social media, highlighting the growing recognition and financial success of transgender performers in Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
