PM Shahbaz Sharif Praises Balochistan Government’s Efforts, Assures Full Federal Support

Quetta: Prime Minister Pakistan, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, has expressed satisfaction with the measures taken by the Balochistan government under Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti to promote development, maintain law and order, strengthen political harmony, and effectively address public complaints registered with the Prime Minister’s Complaint Cell.
During a meeting held on Thursday, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan, provided the Prime Minister with a detailed briefing on reforms and progress across various sectors in the province, including education, health, governance, and public service delivery. He highlighted that despite limited resources, the provincial government has ensured effective implementation of its reform agenda.
The Chief Secretary also informed the Prime Minister about the successes achieved in restoring law and order, including intelligence-based operations and security measures that led to the elimination of 784 terrorists in Balochistan.
Expressing satisfaction over the significant improvement in the province’s security situation due to the joint efforts of the provincial government and security agencies, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif assured that the federal government will continue to fully support Balochistan’s development, stability, and public welfare.
He reiterated the federal government’s commitment to deploying all available resources to resolve the province’s challenges, complete development projects, and provide relief to the people of Balochistan.
