PPP Honors Shaheed Bhutto on Birth Anniversary, Pledges to Uphold His Vision: Mir Liaqat Lahri

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat):** On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Member of the Balochistan Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary for Transport Mir Liaqat Lahri paid rich tribute to the late leader, calling him a visionary who empowered the common people and laid the foundation of popular governance in Pakistan.

Mir Liaqat Lahri said that Bhutto gave political awareness and confidence to workers, peasants, students, and marginalized communities, enabling them to raise their voices for their rights. He highlighted the 1973 Constitution, Bhutto’s efforts to unite the Islamic world on a common platform, and his foreign policy rooted in national sovereignty as testimony to his far-sighted leadership.

He emphasized that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is the true heir of Bhutto’s ideology, continuing to work for public service, the strengthening of democracy, and the supremacy of the Constitution. He also acknowledged Shaheed Benazir Bhutto for advancing her father’s mission through unparalleled sacrifices for the restoration of democracy.

Mir Liaqat Lahri added that the people of Balochistan remain grateful to Bhutto for safeguarding provincial rights and strengthening the federal system. The ongoing development projects and public representation in the province are outcomes of Bhutto’s philosophy.

He concluded by asserting that the PPP, inspired by Shaheed Bhutto’s thoughts and ideals, will continue to serve the people of Balochistan, improve the transport system, enhance public facilities, and promote democratic values, carrying forward the mission of the Quaid-e-Awam at every level.
