Sindh Government Announces Oxford University Scholarship Program

Karachi: The Sindh government, through the College Education Department, has announced the “Bhutto STEM Scholarship” for students seeking admission to the University of Oxford.
The scholarship has been launched under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) finalized earlier this year under the leadership of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
According to the eligibility criteria, candidates applying for graduate, master’s, MPhil, and PhD programs at Oxford University will be eligible for the scholarship. Applicants must meet merit-based requirements and demonstrate proficiency in the English language.

In addition, a Sindh domicile and a valid national identity card have been made mandatory for eligibility. Shortlisted candidates will be finalized after an interview process.
The initiative aims to provide talented students from Sindh with opportunities to pursue higher education at one of the world’s leading universities, particularly in STEM-related fields.
