Major Relief for Driving License Applicants as Punjab Extends Licensing Centre Hours

**Islamabad:** In a significant relief for citizens applying for driving licenses, the Punjab government has extended the operating hours of driving licensing centres across the province.

According to officials, licensing centres in major cities including Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan will now operate round the clock, providing 24-hour services. Meanwhile, in smaller cities, licensing centres will remain open from 8:00 am to 12:00 midnight.

A spokesperson for the Traffic Police said that the decision was taken to facilitate the public and reduce congestion at licensing centres by offering extended service hours.

Citizens have welcomed the government’s move, stating that longer operating hours will greatly ease the process of obtaining driving licenses and save them from long waiting times.
