All Balochistan Transporters Action Committee Condemns Illegal Auction of Hazar Ganji Terminal, Announces Legal Action and Protest

**Quetta (Qudrat Daily):**
The All Balochistan Transporters Action Committee has strongly criticized the illegal auction of land at the Quetta-Karachi Hazar Ganji Bus Terminal, calling it a glaring example of corruption, mismanagement, and lawlessness. The committee, led by prominent transporters including Mir Hikmat Lehri, Mir Dawlat Lehri, Wahid Khan Kakr, and Mir Abdul Qadir Raisani, stated that transporters are being deliberately deprived of their legitimate rights.
Habibullah Khan Badizai, President of the committee, along with Secretary General Mir Akbar Lehri and other officials, condemned the auction as a “disgusting scheme” favoring selected individuals. They also highlighted the longstanding lack of basic facilities at the terminal, which they called a deliberate conspiracy against transporters.
The committee emphasized that repeated complaints and written requests have gone unheard, causing severe economic difficulties for transporters. They warned that the transporters will not relinquish their legal rights and have decided to initiate both judicial action and peaceful protests if the illegal auction is not immediately canceled.
The committee urged the provincial government and relevant authorities to conduct a transparent inquiry into the Hazar Ganji Bus Terminal issue, halt all unlawful collections, and ensure transporters receive their constitutional and legal rights. They stressed that such measures are essential to establish a safe, organized, and well-equipped transport system in the region.
