Rangers Arrest Two Smugglers, Seize Hundreds of Non-Custom-Paid Mobile Phones in Karachi

Karachi:Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), acting on intelligence-based information, have conducted an operation in the Lucky Charrhai area near Jamia Farooqia on Hub River Road, Rais Goth, and arrested two individuals involved in the smuggling of non-custom-paid mobile phones.
According to Rangers officials, the arrested suspects were identified as Zakar Khan, son of Abdul Razzaq, and Muhammad Saleem, son of Jannas Khan. During the operation, Rangers recovered 750 non-custom-paid smartphones of various brands and 61 Samsung tablets from their possession.
The seized mobile phones were concealed in specially built hidden compartments inside a Mazda truck and were being smuggled from Balochistan to Karachi. The total value of the recovered items is estimated to be worth millions of rupees.
Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) stated that operations against smuggling will continue until the menace is completely eradicated. The arrested suspects, along with the recovered non-custom-paid mobile phones and the Mazda truck, have been handed over to Customs authorities for further legal proceedings.
