Indian Singer Chanmayi Surprada Receives Death Threats with Obscene Deepfake Image Targeting Her and Children

**Islamabad:** Indian singer and dubbing artist **Chanmayi Surprada** has received alarming threats, including an obscene deepfake image, targeting her and her children.

Chanmayi shared a video on her X account detailing the persistent online threats she has faced over recent weeks. She revealed that the harassment intensified after her husband, actor and filmmaker **Rahul Ravindran**, made a statement regarding “Mangal Sutra,” which led to severe trolling against her and her family.

Sharing the AI-generated image and video on social media, Chanmayi stated that whether or not the police take action, it is important to bring the issue to public attention. In the video, she said, “I have been verbally abused, and threats have been made to kill me and my children.”


She added that she has filed complaints against some individuals based on conversations held on X Spaces. Chanmayi emphasized that after speaking out against harassment, she has repeatedly been targeted by individuals supported by political groups.

Highlighting the growing risks of deepfake and AI content, especially for women, she urged women, girls, and parents to seek immediate legal assistance in such situations. Chanmayi affirmed that she would not be intimidated by these threats.
