PML-N Leader Abid Sher Ali Elected Senator Unopposed

ISLAMABAD: Following the passing of Senator Irfan Siddiqui, the vacant Senate seat has been filled by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Abid Sher Ali, who was elected unopposed.
According to details, the Senate seat became vacant after the death of senior PML-N leader and Senator Irfan Siddiqui. Abid Sher Ali submitted his nomination papers for the general seat, and since no other party filed nominations, he was declared elected unopposed.
