IG Police Balochistan Visits Pishin, Emphasizes Commitment to Counter-Terrorism and Public Trust

**Pishin (Qudrat Daily)** – Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, visited Pishin on Saturday, where he was received by DPO Pishin Abdul Aleem Achakzai and other senior officers. The visiting IG was saluted by the well-trained contingent of Pishin Police and presided over a briefing session at the DPO office, where the overall security situation of the district was presented in detail.

During his visit, IG Muhammad Tahir addressed a police durbar in Pishin and met officers and personnel who had recently been integrated from the Levies into the police force. He emphasized that the fight against terrorism requires the police to operate with full determination, diligence, courage, and the trust of the public. He instructed officers to prioritize the protection of lives and property, respecting the province’s rich traditions, and to perform their duties with a sense of devotion.

The IG reiterated that the Balochistan Police is committed not only to eliminating terrorist elements but also to establishing law and order while strengthening public confidence in the police. He praised the force for adapting its strategies according to the situation and playing a crucial role in improving security despite limited resources.

At the conclusion of his visit, IG Muhammad Tahir inspected Pishin Police Lines and the Smart Police Station in Pishin city, reviewing various departments and operational facilities.
