Imran Khan Healthy but Angry in Adiala Jail, Says Sister Azma Khan After Meeting
Rawalpindi: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan is in good health while in Adiala Jail, but he was reportedly very angry, according to his sister Azma Khan.
Azma Khan met Imran Khan in Adiala Jail today and spoke to the media afterward. She said that Khan is kept in complete confinement in his cell, with only brief periods allowed outside. She added that Khan expressed frustration, saying that authorities are deliberately causing mental distress.
Today was designated as a meeting day at Adiala Jail, and jail authorities allowed Azma Khan to meet the PTI chairman.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Sohail Afreedi, did not attend the meeting, stating that he would visit the former Prime Minister on Thursday.
Earlier, PTI had expressed concern over restrictions on meetings with Imran Khan, warning that such limitations could potentially endanger the former Prime Minister’s safety.
