Roof Collapse in Pabbi Claims 5 Lives, 3 Injured

Pabbi – At least **five people, including children**, were killed and **three others injured** after the roof of a house collapsed in **Dag Jadeed area, Pabbi**, officials reported.

According to **Rescue 1122**, the tragic incident occurred when eight people were trapped under the debris. Rescue teams from **Nowshera** immediately rushed to the scene and began relief operations. All trapped individuals were successfully pulled out from under the rubble and provided with initial medical aid before being transported to **Mian Rashid Hussain Shaheed Memorial Hospital, Pabbi**.

The victims included both adults and children, while the injured are receiving treatment at the hospital.

The **Director Operations, Rescue Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Mir Alam Khan**, and **District Emergency Officer, Nowshera, Malik Ashfaq Hussain**, visited the site to oversee the rescue operations, guide the search and rescue teams, and assess the overall situation.

Authorities have urged residents to exercise caution and ensure the structural safety of homes to prevent similar tragedies.
