Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam is the Strong Voice of Oppressed Muslims; Our Mandate in Balochistan Was Stolen: Senator Maulana Abdul Wassey

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily)** — The leaders of **Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F)** Balochistan, including **Provincial Chief Senator Maulana Abdul Wassey**, **General Secretary Maulana Agha Mehmood Shah**, and other senior central and provincial figures, have declared that the **JUI-F represents the powerful voice of the Muslim Ummah** and stands as the **unwavering advocate for oppressed Muslims** across the world.
In a joint statement, they praised the **courage and wisdom of JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman**, saying his fearless leadership has made “falsehood restless” and provided consistent guidance to the Muslim community at every front.
The statement emphasized that **JUI-F continues to struggle for the protection of Pakistan’s Islamic identity, ideological foundations, constitutional supremacy, and democratic stability**, with its members steadfastly adhering to the principle of **“speaking the truth without fear.”**
Expressing deep concern over the political situation in Balochistan, the leaders alleged that **JUI-F, being the province’s only organized and majority political force, was deprived of its legitimate public mandate through conspiracies and external interference**. They claimed that despite repeated electoral trust from the people, the party’s representation was deliberately reduced and **legislative houses were filled with handpicked individuals**.
Senator Abdul Wassey stated that the party was not only **unjustly ousted from power**, but its **principled stance on key national matters such as the Reko Diq agreement and NFC Award** was treated as a “crime,” leading to the **imposition of Governor’s Rule** and the **burial of their elected government in political darkness**.
He added that despite these injustices, the party takes **pride in its struggle, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment** to uphold truth, justice, and the democratic rights of the people of Balochistan.
